Hello dear friends!

In my last blog post I talked about a married couple, Monica and Jaime Arista, who are following the Lord in Nicaragua. God asked them to move to a small area outside of Granada where they are to start a discipleship school for men called Campo Gonia.

“Gonia” means cornerstone, and Christ is the cornerstone of everything these two do.

Monica and Jaime walk by faith. God has given them the vision to build the camp. He’s given them the land. He’s provided a wonderful place for them to live. There’s a lot to be built though. Dorms for 50 plus men. Teaching rooms. A cafeteria. A library. A chapel.

Do Monica and Jaime have the thousands of dollars right now that will be required to put up these buildings? No. They don’t.

But without a shred of doubt, they know that the Lord will provide, in abundance, all they need.

The Lord called them to this. To these people. To HIS people. And the Lord provides.

(Remember when I didn’t think I could raise the $16,000 to go on this trip? God is so, so good and so, so faithful.)

Before I left for the Race, I knew that God was putting it on my heart to use the skill set I have in creating videos to bless people. But I knew in order to do that well, I would need to purchase a few things: video editing software for my computer and a new camera lens. The week before I left, I received some donations from people I didn’t even know, and had enough money left over from selling Haiti’s Jewels that I was able to purchase both things no problem.

God provides.

I was able to put together this piece to give you a small glimpse into this wonderful, godly couple and what the Lord is doing through them.

Without further adieu, meet Monica and Jaime.

P.S. Are you a part of a church, organization, or small group that would be willing to help Monica and Jaime bring this dream into reality? If God puts it on your heart to give to them, please let me know! I can assure you these are two of the most genuine people, with a beautiful vision to see men and whole families rescued and brought to life by the Word of God. I can help you get in touch with them to get more info! You can also check out Campo Gonia’s Facebook page here 🙂
